This first broadcast about a composer still unknown to him, with an interview full of delicacy towards Journeau's fourth child, invites listeners to follow the musical path of Maurice Journeau from his birth and youth in Biarritz in the french Basque country, his short musical studies after the first World War, his happy married life during a decade in Nice on the french riviera before definitely staying in Paris.
