Maurice Journeau : "Nocturne" op.62 in Germany

The german pianist Thomas BETZ, also a Professor at the "Saarlandischer Musikhochschule" of Saarbrücken, dedicates once more his "Cecilienmusiken" concerts' series to the interesting musical form of the nocturne for piano by european composers. Mainly well-known ancient ones still on Sunday August 24th, 2025, at 6 p.m in Saarbrücken. But adding everytime the more recent composer Maurice Journeau (+ 1999) met by him in 1996 in Paris. Playing there one of his six nocturnes, the "Nocturne" op. 62 composed in Paris in 1975, still unpublished and that he particularly enjoys.
