On radio Accent 4: "Petite Suite pour cordes et piano" Op. 13

This chamber music work - a quintet for strings and piano played by the Opus 41 Ensemble - was composed on June 1929 at the sea-side in Le Touquet, Paris-Plage in the north of France. It is in three parts with a quite different atmosphere. Each piece is of a quite different mood: first inviting listeners to dream, then impressive, and finally passionately whirling.
