Quatre pièces en suite pour clavecin
Journeau wrote only one work for harpsichord. Like other 20th century composers, he also intended this work for the piano, yet with a different, equally successful musical result.
Four pieces, each endowed with a different spirit: "Grave" (Grave), "Volubile" (Voluble), "Sentimental" (Sentimental) and "Fantasque" (Whimsical).
First performance by Marcelle de Lacour (radio broacast, 1952)
