Les Nuits Basques

Organizers do enjoy their programming in concerts "around Ravel".
For these two Nocturnes are an ode to the Basque Country, a region loved by both composers.
They evoke Maurice Journeau's birthplace, at the sea-side (Biarritz). Then, comes a painting of his favourite walks : St Jean de Luz and Ciboure (a French place linked to Maurice Ravel)
