On Radio "ACCENT 4" : "Sonate pour piano et violon" Op. 6
March 4th, 2022 à 4.59 pmThe Sonate pour piano et violon Op. 6 (c. 1925) is the first sonata written by the young composer. This took place on his return to Biarritz, his native town, after his interesting studies of composition in the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, a well-known Upper Conservatory abroad at the time and still nowadays. A passionate and original work, a typically french music of early 20th Century. From the musical point of view, piano and violin are equally important. But technically the piano part is more difficult according to the composer. You may listen to it on radio Accent 4 and on internet by the french duet of Cathy Cousin (piano) and François Goïc (violin)
