The "Sonate opus 6" on radio Accent 4

With the Sonate pour piano et violon opus 6 by Maurice Journeau, we have a typically french sonata. It was written in 1923 at the sea-side in Biarritz, in the Basque country near Spain. So this musical work bears the mark of the sea, of its huge waves and its sea-gulls whirling over the sand.
