Year 2014"La Sonate française pour violon et piano (1868-1943) - Identité d'un genre musical". A 2014 Paris-Sorbonne thesis of musicology by the french violinist and professor at the well-known Paris Conservatory in the rue de Madrid (8th district) Stéphanie Moraly (research director: Danièle Pistone). The two violin sonatas by Maurice Journeau are among the numerous sonatas found by the searcher, i.e. Sonata op. 6 (c. 1923)and Sonata op. 24 (c. 1939).
