A radio broadcast on "Accent 4" with the "Fantaisie pour violon et orgue" op.54

November 27th, 2012 à 6.00 pm

Maurice Journeau's writing for the organ takes place mainly in his last period of composition, i.e.in the seventies. He particularly enjoyed mingling organ and violin in some works, such as his "Fantaisie pour violon et orgue" op.54 composed in 1971 and first performed in Paris in 1972 by Gil Graven (violin) and Germain Desbonnet (organ). More recently, in 2010,the Canadian duet of Jacques Boucher and Anne Robert discovered and recorded the work.
