A Concert of Journeau's works by the students of the Conservatory of Music of Paris (8th district)

Regularly on Thursdays (except on holidays), the "Mairie du 8e" welcomes Students from its neighbour, the "CRR de Paris", a high level Conservatory in the 8th district, directed by Mr Xavier Delette. Among its Departments, the "Chamber Music Department" grants Professors and their students regular opportunities of public performances.Such as with Professor Pascal Proust who recently discovered Maurice Journeau's Chamber music works, programming some on Thursday, May 10th, at 1p.m:

"Allegretto"for cello and piano op.31 (1947)

"Dialogues" for flute and bassoon op.40 (1955)

"Rêverie"for violin and piano (1956)

"Marine"for cello and piano (1936)

"Petite Suite pour cordes"op.13 (1929), a quintet for strings and piano
